Who is Behind this?
My name is Fawziyya; a stay-at-home mum approaching her late twenties and trying so hard to not lose herself in the ‘mummying’ process.
Why “Zeeyah’s Thoughts”?
So the truth is that, I’ve always wanted a thriving blog of my own. I made an attempt 3 years ago right after graduation from university and published a few stories but I was so unsure of myself and lacked confidence in what I had written that I actually didn’t dare to tell anybody about the blog! I found myself deleting the whole blog a few months later.
Fast forward three years later and I suddenly realize how fast my life has moved (I got married, moved to South Korea a year after that and had a baby a year after relocating!)
It has been quite overwhelming, if I must admit. The best part is I feel like I have so many stories that I’d be doing myself and many others a disservice not to share!
What to Expect
My intention is to keep this blog quirky and light-hearted. It is also my hope that whoever ends up here would be so intrigued and thrilled that they will be reluctant to leave.
I will focus mostly on my life as a mum (how the journey has been, lessons being learnt, struggles,etc) and then how I have survived in Korea in the 2 years that I have been here.
I will occasionally also lend the space to others who wish to talk about issues that interest me. I am actually getting excited by the mere thought of this blog’s prospects!
