This world can be a tough place; especially for a big, black, African and hijab-wearing Muslim woman like me. All the odds seem to be against you sometimes if you walk a mile in my shoes. But I choose to not focus on the negativity and tackle it one day at a time; because I want to go all out and see the beautiful world and its people that Allah (God) has freely made available to us.
